The Jackson County Fair takes place traditionally during the 3rd week of October.  It is eight straight days of spinning rides, livestock exhibits, live entertainment, local vendors, and gumbo!

Below are some of the events and exhibits to look forward to. Prices on Midnight Madness and Super Sunday Armbands will be posted once they are confirmed.

2025 Jackson County Fair
October 19-26

Those who would like to enter exhibits in the Civic Center, Arts Building and Barn, please refer to the Fair Book and Forms (links to right) for application and entry deadlines.  Please NOTE - there are several changes that have been made beginning in 2024:

  • American System of Judging will be used (see page 36 of Fair BooK)
  • Arts Building Entry - drop-off and pick-up times have changed for all entries
  • Arts Building Classroom and School Groups drop-off a week prior to other entries (now Oct. 13 & 14 from 8a.m. - 4p.m.)
  • ALL Premiums will be paid by check and mailed (no cash payments)

THERE ARE SEVERAL NEW EVENTS!!

Tickets are $1 each.
Number of tickets required for each ride varies.

Armband pricing will be determined and posted closer to dates.

  Opening Nights:  

  • Sunday, Oct. 19 @ 4 p.m. - Midway, Rides, Church/Food Pavilion, Food Truck Alley
  • Monday, Oct. 20 @ 9 a.m.  - Civic Center (Commercial & Educational Booths)
  • Monday, Oct. 20 @ 11 a.m. - Barn (Livestock & Crops)
  • Tuesday, Oct. 21 @ 7 p.m. - Arts Building 

Civic Center, Barn, Arts Building close at 8 p.m. each night
Midway, Rides, Food Vendors open until 10 p.m. each night unless otherwise noted
